Hsiang Cheng was established on Sep. 3rd, 1979. The president, Mr. Patrick Lin, was majoring in electric engineering during his university years and then had about 15 years working experiences in Taiwan Power Company  (TPC)  for  all kind of tests of measuring instrument, high voltage, and impulse, which made him  excellent for technology of both electric and electricity. This also makes the main purpose of our company to be specialized in developing and manufacturing the whole series of power system and general system.
For the 1st decade of HC, we were manufacturing the traditional measuring products such as digital meter, transducer and transmitter. Our products had very good quality and stability which brought us very good reputation and feedback form our customers all over the world.
For the next 5 years, HC developed the high accuracy multi-functional energy meter power calibrator, and clamp type meters. We also expanded our products range to the system products such as R2 RTU which had a great success in usage of all substations in TPC.
To the 2nd decade of HC until now, considering of market trend nowadays, we had developed our new upgrade PQM(Power  Quality Meter)  products and got CE approval to provide monitoring of power system  and industry usage. For the system products, we also developed the "Power SCADA"  which was not only used all over the power distribution substations but also the local IPP (Independent Power Producer) and power plants.
